PGIMER Chandigarh MD and MS Entrance Exam

The Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh conducts MS/MD entrance exam for admission to Doctor of Medicine (MD) and Master of Surgery (MS) Courses. The PGIMER Entrance Examination is held twice a year for admission to Postgraduate Courses. The duration for MD/MS Course is of three academic years. The candidates receive a stipend plus other allowances as applicable during the coursework.

PGIMER MS Entrance Exam Eligibility Criteria

1. The Candidates must have successfully completed their MBBS degree, or other equivalent qualification, from a University/Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
   
   
2. The Candidates must have either completed, or due to complete their one year of rural internship training on or before 31st December/30th June for January and July session respectively.
   
   
3. Candidates must be registered with the Central/State Medical Registration Council.
   

PGIMER MS Entrance Exam Pattern

Question Type: 250 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) with five alternatives each. The questions will have either single or multiple correct responses.
